The first of 3 fixtures against Elham this year didn’t get off to the best of starts with Saltwood loosing out by 6(ish) wickets. Saltwood batted first and never really got going, with wickets falling regularly, racking up around 130 runs in 40 overs.

The total was around 30 runs short of a par score, but some tight bowling kept the Elham batsmen behind the rate for the first 20 overs. With wickets left in hand Elham were able to accelerate and take advantage of some loose deliveries and reach their target with overs to spare.

Without the stats from Play-Cricket the scores are a bit vague, but hopefully we’ll get them soon.
