Sunday 27th January saw the last round of matches in Division 2 of the KCB Shepway 6-a-side league. Saltwood had already played their last match so it was left to Mersham Le Hatch and New Romney to decide the final league positions.
A decisive victory for either team would see them walk away with the title of Division 2 Champions and Saltwood relegated to second or third place. Despite wins for both teams, Saltwood remained on top thanks to a superior run rate. Well done to everyone who played, a massive turnaround from last season’s wooden spoon.
